Hexagonal smokeless charcoal — long-burning, low-ash sawdust briquettes

Hexagonal smokeless charcoal is the grilling charcoal most used by hotpot & BBQ restaurants today: sawdust pressed into hexagonal sticks with a hollow center and carbonized at high temperature, so it burns clean, smokeless and odorless.

Why does hexagonal charcoal burn long and evenly?

Sawdust is dried, tightly pressed into hexagonal sticks and then carbonized without oxygen. The hollow center lets air circulate, so the charcoal lights quickly and burns evenly from the inside out. The sticks are dense, so they burn for 3–4 hours — 2–3 times longer than ordinary lump charcoal.

Specifications of Grade A (export) hexagonal smokeless charcoal

Calorific value about 7,000 kcal/kg, ash content under 3%, burning time 3–4 hours, packed in 10kg boxes (box size 40 × 22 × 20 cm). Grade A is for restaurants that need steady heat through a whole shift; Grade B is more affordable, suitable for casual grill houses and families.

How to use hexagonal charcoal efficiently

Light the charcoal with fire starter cubes or a gas torch for 10–15 minutes until it glows evenly before putting it in the grill. Sticks can be broken in half for small grills. Store charcoal in a dry place, raised off the ground.

Frequently asked questions

What is hexagonal smokeless charcoal?

It is sawdust pressed into hexagonal sticks with a hollow center and then carbonized. The hollow center helps it light quickly and burn evenly with steady heat; it produces little ash, no smoke and no odor, which is why hotpot & BBQ restaurants love it.

How much is a 10kg box of smokeless charcoal?

A 10kg box of hexagonal smokeless charcoal retails at about 190,000–200,000 VND depending on the grade; larger quantities get wholesale prices. See the Wholesale Prices page or call our hotline for the latest prices.

How is smokeless BBQ charcoal different from regular lump charcoal?

Smokeless charcoal is pressed from sawdust and carbonized at high temperature, so almost no wood resin remains — it burns without smoke or odor, leaves little ash and lasts 2–3 times longer than lump charcoal. That makes it ideal for indoor BBQ restaurants.
